Ollie Clarke is going nowhere, he’s buying a house in the area.

Clarke over rated, with Stech, the 2 most disappointing signings last season.

Be very surprised if he's still captain next season.

Don't forget Clarke hardly had a pre season last year due to injury. I think he's a good engine and has chipped in with a few goals too. Dont agree on the overrated comment, I'm excited to see him next season with a full pre season in him and a fresh start under Clough with a new attack and defense

Stech was a disappointing signing, as was O'Keefe (both being transfer listed backs this up) and Menayese but it looks like he's getting another shot from Clough

Captained a top 3/4 budget team to finish in 16th, contributing 3 goals in 36 appearances

He was at fault for Stags losing a 2 goal lead away at Orient, and that's just one game!!

I think he was honest enough himself to say Stags have not seen the best of him

Hang on, where has it been stated we had the 3rd or 4th biggest budget last season? Unless I've read that wrong.

Don't know what you've been reading but anybody who has the slightest interest in lower league football knows Stags having been throwing money at getting promotion for years.

Have you ever heard Stags fans singing "one Johnny Radford" ? It's his money ;)

And how many times were we told last summer that we had to cut our cloth accordingly because of previous years of high spending? We definitely didn't spend anywhere near the amount as we did under Evans or Flitcroft.

David Sharpe said many times that we had to cut down our wage bill drastically and lower the average playing age of the squad. I'd put money on it that we didn't have a top 3 budget under Coughlan.

The only teams with budgets similar, or higher, than Stags would be Bolton, Salford, Bradford, maybe Tranmere.

Name the other teams you think had a higher budget, Champions Cheltenham :D 4th placed Morecambe :D

Look at the players Stags signed at the start of the season, we're not shopping at Lidl

Don’t forget Clarke didn’t have a pre season last year, that will make all the difference this season you watch.
