The Dean /Martin Show

Postby Bros » Tue May 18, 2021 12:59 pm

Now that the dust has settled on our season I think it's time to give our heartfelt thanks to these two guys. They have travelled the country at their own expense to bring us the words to go with the pictures. Let's not forget that they are not professional commentators and they are doing a radio commentary without the aid of the images we see on screen. The lacklustre commentary for the FA cup games showed what how much better it is to have totally biased and passionate people on the mike.
Thanks again for all your efforts and I hope I won't be listening to you next season as we'll be back at the games

And in the words of the old crooner Dean Martin: "Memories are made of this".

Thanks chaps.

Yep echo that, as I said to Dean my favourite bit was when they turned into aliens after some sound problems. Can't believe Martin hasnt developed even a slight Mansfield accent though!

Thank you.

A huge huge thanks from a very appreciative fan. A fantastic effort throughout the season. Hopefully see you on the SSA coach next season Dean. Win or lose you did us a turn. Brilliant.

Yep, they do a great job and unlike some of the other amateur commentators don't show their bias or allegiance. They say what they see (or sometimes don't see) and if we play poorly, they admit it. Well done chaps.

  I was watching that game too, was it Grimsby away? I thought it was my laptop but when Dean came out with that I was in stitches. I really enjoyed both of their commentaries as well and I’m glad Martin has still kept his accent as I love how he says Mansfield.
