Vaughan equalises, goal stands even though he was offside.

FT: Morecambe 1 Tranmere 1 (HT: 1-0)
A tremendous performance by Morecambe and a great achievement by Derek Adams and the players to finish 4th and reach the Play Off Final with the lowest playing budget in League 2. I thought the Morecambe defence of keeper Kyle Letheren, full backs, Ryan Cooney and Liam Gibson and centre halfs, Sam Lavelle and Nathaniel Knight-Percival were excellent particularly keeper, Kyle Letheren, who made a great save from Paul Lewis just before half time and another from Manny Monthe in the 2nd half and right back, Ryan Cooney.

Morecambe started really well and Aaron Wildig gave them a deserved lead. They could have scored another. Corey Blackett Taylor was never in the game for Tranmere and Ryan Cooney and Sam Lavelle had him in their pockets. James Vaughan had a good header but should have received a yellow card for his barge on Knight-Percival.

Tranmere threw on David Nugent and Otis Khan at half time and David Nugent's header from a corner was knocked in on the line by James Vaughan. Tranmere then just launched it into the box at every opportunity but Lavelle, Knight-Percival, Yann Sango'o and Toumani Diaouraga dealt with the aerial bombardment really well. Vaughan arguably should have picked up a second yellow and been sent off for a late challenge on Letheren after another very good save from a shot from distance. Jay Spearing was Tranmere's best player in centre midfield.

Letheren was playing for Cheaterfield at the beginning of the season. What a turnaround for him.

Forest Green score twice in 90 seconds and it's all square on aggregate.

Forest Green 2-0 Newport

Remarkable

Is it extra time or penalties after 90 mins, would Newport win on away goals if it's 2-1.

It it finishes 2-1 Newport win 4-3 on aggregate.
Away goals don't count in play offs anyway.

Forest Green 3-0 Newport

Forest Green ahead on aggregate from a Nicky Cadden free kick into a great area that goes straight in

Hope the Welsh take it to extra time and lose on penalties for maximum pain, then again don't mind if they lose 10 nil.

There is a chance it could be abandoned, ball not moving well after constant rain and more forecast on the way.
It's only a small chance but you never know.
