I know i should really let it go but that goal he let in from 2000 yards out against Rotherham still winds me up to this day!

He's re-signed for AFC Mansfield. There, I've spared you the advertfest.

I think it was the only time I have seen a team win a penalty shoot out 3-0.

A team scores three out of three but also three out of three not scored.

Jason only save one of them, one hit the bar and one was shot over the bar.

It was actually the beginning of where we are now. As painful as it was to be relegated, it did us a favour as H*slam knew his cash cow was coming to an end and started looking for a way out. Without that relegation he could still be milking us dry now.

Jason White has been a good non-league keeper. He used to take the penalties for Rudy Funk's AFC Mansfield and helped them win promotion to Step 4. They then took a voluntary demotion back down to Step 5 because they did not have time to carry out further ground improvements. He left AFC after Rudy was sacked and joined him at Long Eaton.

AFC Mansfield may end up going back up to Step 4 when they reshuffle the pyramid. 110 clubs will be promoted this season due to the new leagues and resulting reshuffle.

In fairness from the time the rotherham lad kicked it to when the ball went in the net you’d have time to go make sandwich and nip to the local for a pint

I suppose it some ways he is slightly unlucky . It was the defining moment in our collapse into non league . Terrible goalkeeping and most of us there on the day somehow knew something like that was coming .
There were of course 45 games before that where we could have done better .
Haslam set the tone of despondency , despair and negativity and White just conducted the orchestra for the final tune .

We were still in with a chance after that goal went in as the Daggers were still less than three points in front of us and we still had to play them the next Saturday.

They were losing 2-1 at Darlington, but as the Rotherham game finished, the Daggers result came in and they had turned it round to win 3-2 and we were down and Uncle Keith was running for cover from Steve.

I was a Deputy Head in Redford at the time and after holding the Haslam Out flag in the Quarry Lane with 3 others including Acasman had to explain to governors why my photo was in the News of the World above the headline Stags Fans in attack shame.

Please please no more of this Jason White stuff. What do they say nowadays. Once you see it, you can never unsee it. Took me years to get over it. Some morbid person reminds us of it again. Be off with you.

I'm just glad it's only 360p quality. Softened the blow if it was available in 1080 or 720.
