Unbeaten in 7(?) now.
Was a good performance.. We go again on Tuesday. Maybe with some of our fringe players getting a bit of game time.

Much needed result . The team dug in well . First half we looked a team that can more than hold its own . Second half we just couldn't keep the ball . Neither Bowery or Reid held it up once .
I'd give MOM to Sweeney and Rawson for keeping them out . All the changes in midfield mean we seem to lack cohesion there and we have the obvious frailties up front . 49 points will be enough .

It is funny how it works. We’ve created very little today and taken all three points. XG was 1.3 for us. We did get a relatively early goal though so that will have had an impact.
We’ve played far better and taken less than three points.
But as I said earlier, who cares.

No wonder Stevenage manager was going mad, Rawson forearm smashes their forward in face then Rawson holds his head saying it was a clash of heads.
Ref buys it and you just have to laugh and say it’s about time something went our way.

If my ifollow had been working at the time I may have made a comment about the incident, but it wasn't, so I didn't.

Reid nicked it to Bowery who shot over/wide. Reid appeared to be tripped as be poked the ball.

Great win. Nearly at the magic 50, but really were as good as safe now.
Let's blood some youth and start looking at the season ahead.

It looked a very good shout, neither Martin or Dean saw it I don't think as neither mentioned it.

Bowery and Reid are not as good as Cook and Maynard IMO.

I think rawson got away with one but the Stevenage player looked to make the most of it. But I could be wrong the camera angle for the incident wasn’t the best.

Forgot about that one
I mean, if you only count the games we didn't lose in then we're unbeaten.

I did ask about it on here at the time, as I was screaming for it at home but neither Martin nor Dean mentioned it and no replay was shown so I presumed it was me being completely biased

Played well in the first half and looked the better side. Nearly let them back in it but look for better playing with three going forward and bowery in from the left.
