Probably moved to Friday evening? Or midday kickoff on Saturday?

I hope they allow some early or late kick offs on Saturday.

neither Stevenage nor Mansfield play this Tuesday. Both play a week on Tuesday. So the obvious solution would seem to me to move the game to Friday night.

We'll see.

I agree. More forced mourning, whilst thousands of football fans around the country are likely to miss out

The next time you are kicking a ball on the local park with your children or grandchildren maybe you should tell them about how prince Philip campaigned to stop councils selling them off.
We have a lot to thank him for and one game being moved, not cancelled, is trivial.

We have a lot to thank a lot of people for. Not sure why one mans death matters more than anyone else. It is very sad, but a game wasn't moved for our ex captains suicide so not sure why this one is.

I’m looking forward to games being postponed for all the other activists who have campaigned for open spaces to be protected

Hatred and anger?

For my part, I am frustrated that there is a risk of missing another game in circumstances I don’t think are necessary.

By all means, show the funeral on TV and allow everyone who wants to pay their respects to do so.

But it is unnecessary to blanket footage on every channel and postpone events so those of us who would rather watch our teams play are able to do so.

Maybe not. I missed last nights game unfortunately because of the change. The only game I have missed all season. I know others were complaining about that change too.

Hopefully I can still watch it when we know when it’s scheduled.

Lost my mum in January and we chose the option of 15 people going to the funeral simply because the second option of 30 would have meant a longer delay . Very impressed with the 30 limit being applied to This funeral . Think it shows the monarchy ( or the people who advise them) are a lot more in touch with reality than politicians . I am not a big fan of the Monarchy but I can understand why some people are . Moving a football match to suit whatever % of people feel they would like to watch his funeral is no big deal .Let them who are interested have their day , but please can the media stop using “ the whole country will be mourning “ , The media idolising him now seems a bit too late .

Hope they move it somewhere closer .

Delay on the train , long walk to the ground and 2-0 down in first 10 minutes last time we went .
