Just catching up on the news, so shocked and saddened to read about Lee. A great professional and captain for the Stags.

It's impossible to imagine what his family are going through at this time.

Condolences.

RIP Lee

Apologies, I didn't mean to start speculation. RIP Lee and thoughts to his family.

This didn’t register earlier when hearing Yeovil’s player had died.
I’m so saddened by this. Heart wrenching.
RIP Lee.

OMG. That is so so sad. A reminder to us all that footballers (like all of us) have emotions.

Deeply shocked and saddened and I didn't know him personally.

Absolutely tragic and cause for all posters to think how they post about players.

Walesonline are terrible, i live in cardiff and their stories are 'shock jock' worthy in most cases, for clickbait only, no good journalism in there and their website is an abomination

Whilst not wanting to drag the thread off topic, I completely agree

I don't know who amended my original post but they might like to think about what they do allow to be posted on here. I partly understand removing reference to the players who I referred to but not the rest.

Not the time to debate as my thoughts are totally with Lee's family and friends. This news is devastating,

Tragedy. It's a shame on society that this happens.

A terrible tragedy especially when you see the photos of his three young girls.

Nobody can understand mental health issues unless you have experienced them personally. It defies logic and reason which is why a lot of people struggle to understand and will never understand. If your brain works in a healthy way or in a way that you can find ways to cope then you are very fortunate. We just take it for granted. The brain is a very powerful tool but it is also a powerful weapon and it can be very self destructive. There is also very little help and support for people who really need help especially for adults; and they can end up on a long waiting list for counselling and therapy.

It brings back sad memories of Gary Speed, Robert Enke, Justin Fashanu, David Bairstow, Dale Roberts etc. I think Tyson Fury was also on the verge of killing himself.

Lee's family and friends must be absolutely devastated. Their lives will never be the same again.

The Lee Collins Crowdfunder for his three little girls has increased from around £1,500 to £5,700. It woiuld be nice if they can reach their target of £10,000.
