We gave up winning for Lent and it doesn't finish til Saturday, so a draw looks likely.

LENT is a good way of remembering who we play next,
Leyton
Exeter
Newport
Then Stevenage.

4 points from them games should be ok.

Should be another good game of football, so we are in with a chance, our problems seem to be more with the hack it and bash it teams.

We've seen the last of Oli Sarkic this season, which means his total contribution totalled 33 minutes.

It's fair to say that the signing did not work out as planned.

Orient are a club about the same as us in size , capacity just over 9-000 and 1000 on the gate coming in at 5-500, they are playing well with 3 wins and 2 draws in the last 5.
We are at home but with no fans not much advantage, our problem is still both penalty areas , but hopefully the rest will have done us good, i will take a point, but a win could be possible
but seems we will have to score 2 or more to win

Id feel good about winning if we had a decent striker, Reid just isn't taking this opportunity being given to him at all.

Some players need time to adjust. I remember when CJ first joined us his finishing was woeful.

I love you positivity Andy, but Reid is older than a CJ was, doesn’t have the pedigree of a higher level academy and isn’t half the athlete either.

Reid should be a back up at this level

Have a look at how many goals CJ scored under Flitcroft then come back.

He was back up really, we resigned Maynard and had Cook too.
Two of the top strikers in league 2 that somehow went so wrong for both parties and we never found out why.

Maynard was important for us under Dempster, think he got 14 goals and probably helped save us from a relegation battle. When he left, it was obvious he wanted a go in league one. I don't blame him, he's not getting any younger but when he realised he wasn't getting the deal he wanted he came back to us. It was a raspberries show with Coughlan and no one looked good under him. Think he picked up a few injuries too?

Cook despite being bought by Dempster was never a regular starter. I expected him to play with Maynard every week but it never happened. Could it be he has a attitude/personality problem? needs the right kind of man management? His fitness is also a factor, I have heard he likes a drink but that is only a rumour. Cook looked a different beast the first few weeks of the season, but then he was dropped and we hardly saw him again.

So did Andy Cole and Teddy Sheringham but they still got the job done.

anyone think we actually need 6 points? both Grimsby and Southend would need promotion form for them to reach 50.

i think one more win should do us.

Based on the PPG of both relegation threatened sides we’re already safe as it stands. Of course that could change quickly.
