Yes Reid should've hit the target, but in the Prem with VAR it could have been a pen with the defenders hands all over him and possibly a deft tug on his shirt at the crucial time when he's about to shoot. Also Woolery with a sly shove on Kell when he's about to head it.
Ok Aiden maybe could've done better but he's developing and'll get better, whereas Stech, Nigel knows a flapper when he sees one.

Reid had been appealing for everything all afternoon and the ref had previously gestured to him to get up . With 50/50 decisions I am convinced referees often give fewer free kicks to players who they feel have previously tried to con them .

But in our box had the same happened yesterdays ref would've probably pointed to the spot.

The referee had clearly decided to let the teams play for the most part but dug himself into a hole by the the time Law was scythed down by Jay Spearing and he gave a foul to Tranmere and booked Law fgs

Both Spearing and Khan were lucky not to get two yellows but the Law yellow card was a dreadful decision by a very poor referee.

Jason Law could have picked up a yellow in the 1st half for an accumulation of fouls.

Nigel Clough told BBC Radio Nottingham:
"Steven Quinn was probably the best player on the pitch today with his quality. The goal was just about control and technique and that's why you wanted it dropping to him.
"We've wasted far too many crosses, set plays and chances as well. Reidy has to hit the target with a couple of situations. He's working hard but that's what he's there for to finish one of those chances that he had.
“[On the Tranmere goal] Kellan decided to head it when it was about a foot off the floor instead of kicking it.
"Jordan [Bowery] looked tired, George [Maris] looked tired. So that's where your subs become very important.
"Jordan has played just about every game. If we'd had more strikers available, Jordan would have had a breather today."
"Four points clear as Lincoln are McCaffreyised", CHAD headline, April 1975
