Anyone who thinks Bowery is bad is an idiot. However, Reid has not taken the chance that the manager has given him.

V Bristol City at home must be one of the most embarrassing defeats. Weren’t we 4-2 up with minutes remaining, only to lose.

One of the worse times I have felt at the end of a game. It was unbelievable but then again perhaps not when taking about the Stags.

Getting drubbed 4-0 by the Spireites at Saltergate as some have mentioned. I think it was Ryan Williams and Luke Beckett who took us apart that day.

The 4-5 against Bristol City for the sheer shock, despite being down to ten men we had played them off the pitch and Iseyden was untouchable that day. Unfortunately for us our defence that season was enough to make you nervous every time the opposition crossed the half way line but even by our standards that collapse in the dying minutes was something to behold.

1-4 v Hull in the 01/02 promotion season. We’d absolutely battered them earlier in the season at Field Mill, it finished 4-2 but if we’d scored ten they could have had no complaints, we were magnificent. Roll it forward to the business end of the season and we were in full on ‘wobble’ mode. Standing on the old terrace at Boothrey Park watching us capitulate, again at the hands of Ryan Williams whilst all the time the locals surging towards the gate like a herd from The Walking Dead.
