Well done to GC and it is right on his doorstep as well.

It could save the club a few quid if we are still paying him off.

Radford was pissed up and his autocorrect changed "Clough" to "Coughlan" the rest is a series of jolly misunderstandings

The main thing that set us back years was the decision to promote Dempster. Everything else has been a consequence of that.

Some stupid comments on the Twitter post, and I think most of them are young stags too.

We all know how their managerial reign went, but some folk seem to think it was their objective to come here and do badly. Didn't work out for them/us, they have a career to get back to and families to feed. Not much to ask for a simple good luck from others on here who seem to have a personal vendetta against them

I'm pleased they have found work and good luck to them. However, their tenure and John D's, have in my opinion, put the club back five years.

And those decisions lie with those in the board room!

Do feel like we're on the right track with Clough, don't think it's set us back 5 years though. Clough will have us challenging next season at the right end of the table

I would agree with that . Coughlan has his faults of course but was fighting fires from day one .

Listening to Neal Bishop's interview, Graham Coughlan needed to come down hard on the players who were all taking liberties under John Dempster but he clearly came down too hard.

It might have been different for him if he had built bridges with Krystian Pearce and kept Alex MacDonald and Danny Rose. He did have a bit of bad luck as we could easily have beat Tranmere, Orient and Stevenage and we deserved a point at Newport and against Exeter. Who knows?

Put us back 5 years ? How can you say that. Where do you think we'd be now Andy? In the championship. We're Mansfield, always meddling in League 2

Bad luck  Give over, the bloke was utterly clueless. His transfer dealings in the Summer confirm that.

Dempster was appointed but not supported by the Board. Coughlan had the support of a Director of Football and did worse than Dempster. Clough has the support of the CEO and the Radfords; next season if we are not challenging for promotion where do we go then.
