Interesting our game is a 6pm kick off.

Two games at bottom of table which could be decisive in the relegation shake up.

Barrow vs Grimsby
And
Southend vs Walsall

Wins for Barrow and Walsall please as I'm sorry I've little confidence there'll be any addition to our points tally.

Interesting our game is a 6pm kick off.

I was curious about the kick off time. It is only about just over a couple of hours to FGR. I do sympathise with teams who have a long trip home after a mid week game.

On Tuesday there is Leyton Orient at Carlisle, Grimsby at Barrow, Tranmere at Colchester and Exeter at Oldham which are all long trips.

I did wonder why matches were not being played in the afternoon but I guess that if they had a mid week KO at 3pm there would be a lot of people who are working who would not be able to watch on ifollow.

I think Forest Green requested it, as Bolton did (5pm) for the earlier re-arranged game. It just means they get home a bit earlier.

6pm kick offs behind closed doors really do make sense, in fact, why would you kick off at 7.45?

Don't panic. We have lost 1 in 4 and gained 5 points so should be fine. The problem is that we have conceded two 90 minute goals which were avoidable and these mistakes have cost a further 3 points. 8 points from the last 4 games and everyone would have smiles on their faces #finemargins.

A point tonight for us would be massive, but if FGR go in front have we the balls to fight back? In general this season the end outcome is poor.

We've fought back to gain four points the last twice we've gone behind at home.

Well we didn't lose any of our gap between the bottom 2 and barrow got sucked in more. Not a bad night overall.

Barrow 0 Grimsby 1

A horrible scrappy game which looked like a 0-0 all night until 20 year old Luke Spokes smashed a great left foot shot into the top corner from the edge of the area for Grimsby. He played well against the Stags as a 2nd half sub on Saturday unlike our own subs! Barrow did have a couple of chances to equalise late on. Calvin Andrew came on as a sub for Barrow in the 88th minute. Matt Green came on in the 90th minute for Grimsby.

Another clean sheet for Rollin Menayese at left centre half who has had his car stolen in Grimsby. Four clean sheets in a row.

A lifeline for the Mariners.

Really should have seen that one coming . Having his car reallocated in Grim .
