We will win this game. Despite Tuesday being not the most entertaining there is enough in this side to beat them.

2-0 (is back again). COYS.

If we only win one more game this season, it's got to be this one. Hopefully we will have some of the better players back from injury.

Where's Sneag? We might need his swamp prediction back for this one.

Cods'll play to win, they have to now. Gaps in their rearguard need to be exploited. I hope we score first or it could get messy and frantic.

Watched Grimsby draw 0-0 with Col U in the late kick off on Saturday. A game of few chances as both sides kept things tight. Col U certainly did not want to lose. Lennell John-Lewis ("The Shop") missed a sitter in the 1st half for Grimsby after James Hanson had caused a bit of mayhem in the Col U defence. Harry Pell had three good chances for Col U with James McKeown making a good save in the 2nd half.

Rollin Menayese had a reasonable game and was good in the air (8 aerials won). I'd like to see him reacting quicker when defending though to pick up spare men or to boot the ball clear.

Otis Khan is not in the Tranmere squad,

If they get 'battered' tonight by Tranmere, they might not Be in the right Plaice for Saturday, and their sole might not be in it.
You've got to go there and come back, to know where you've been.

How I see it, they will come at us with everything and I hope we hit them on the break early

Just noticed David Nugent starting for Tranmere... Joked with him a year or two about playing for stags, said no chance he'd play in that league

Always thought that guy was overrated & never knew why he got contracts at higher level league football... Had 2 good seasons for Leicester 12/13 and 13/14 thats bout it.

Hmmm, not sure about that. He was a consistently good championship striker for about ten years.

HT Grimsby 0-0 Tranmere. Grimsby toothless. Tranmere the better side but rarely looked liked scoring so far.

Didn't we borrow Luke Waterfall for a bit too?

Luke Waterfall is on the bench. He might play on Saturday against the Stags to complete his hat-trick of sendings off at Field Mill although his team (Lincoln and Grimsby) won both games.

Rollin Menayese playing quite well for Grimsby at left centre half.

FT Grimsby 0-0 Tranmere.

Fair result. Very few chances for either side.

John-Lewis had Grimsby's only chance but wasted it. Ira Jackson Jr did well for Grimsby coming as as sub. He scored against us in the game earlier in the season.

Grimsby are on a terrible run.

You know what we do whenever we play someone on a terrible run   .

The Shop had a great chance to win it for Grimsby. He was put clean through by Jackson but shot straight at the keeper.

Two clean sheets for Rollin Menayese in the Grimsby defence. He made one error in the 2nd half when he should have booted the ball into the stand on the right.

I thought Jay Matete in midfield (on loan from Fleetwood) was Grimsby's best player.

Tranmere were very disappointing. Didn't look like a side going for promotion.
