Didn’t see that one coming when we went 1-0 down! Brilliant second half that was, we looked really lively going forwards, good move by Clough going with the diamond in midfield tonight, worked wonders. Bowery, Law and Quinn fantastic tonight.

Betting against your own team is just wrong. Support them win or lose.

Really wish Law had put that ball in, he deserved a goal tonight. Great play for the 2nd goal.

Very well played tonight by every player . Rawson the pick of the defenders . Better link up from midfield . The strikers playing much closer together . Good to see Lapslie back . Charley's form has dipped without him there , but together they generate so much energy . Good game too for Law , Clarke and Quinn . Midfield ironically after the last few seasons may be the one area we look stronger in . Key now is consistency.

I do support them. I’m delighted they won. Who I put a bet on has absolutely no impact.

An excellent performance from every single player. It would be easier to say who wasn’t the man of the match than to pick one performance out. Who is going to lose out to Lapslie? And what happens when Maris is back?

That could and probably should have been 6 or even 7. Best showing of the season without a doubt.

Gotta say I'm raspberrying buzzing after that performance & result tonight. It would jave been so easy for the players to let their heads drop going one down, but we pretty much battered them for the rest of the game. Some cooler finishing it would have been 5-1.

It was the result the Bolton performance deserved.

BTW did anyone else get told by Matt Murray that Stags had a 3rd about 30 seconds before Bowery score? That boy is psychic.

You're right, the response after the goal was pleasing and we haven't really responded like that all season, you could tell it gave us confidence.

Just be happy tonight for the win against the league leaders. And the performances haven't been dire, just tainted by individual errors.

Terrible shithousery by the Stags. They needed to put some very heavy weights in those frost covers and move the advertising hoardings forward.

I think he’s playing well

I thought Stephen McLaughlin played really well tonight in the holding midfield position. He gave the ball away too much as always but he had the excellent habit of sticking a foot in at the right time or just using his athleticism to get in the way of the Cheltenham attackers at the right time. He was an annoying nuisance for Cheltenham for the whole of the game.

Quote from Clough tonight - ‘We were all a little bit frightened when you read the stats out about how good Cheltenham are away from home, and hardly conceding any goals, so when they go 1 nil up everyone’s thinking y’know game over sort of thing’ ... see, it even cross Cloughies mind, how spineless  :D

In all seriousness, great bit of character shown tonight. Would have been easy for the remaining 30 minutes to pass us by against top of the league but to come back like that was great and quite unexpected after recent weeks! Looking forward to Saturday now

Simply don't see how he keeps his place except the next best isn't good enough

One thing that Jamie Reid does do is work his socks off up front which might be why Nigel Clough retains faith in him. I was really pleased for him tonight that he got a poacher's goal and an assist.

The front three of Bowery, Reid and Law supported by Stephen Quinn were excellent tonight. They never stopped chasing and running all night.

ha. I saw your text pop up on my screen and I was quickly thinking do I mention this ... then thought perhaps best not to go too early in case there is a comeback ... and I did indeed get my wires crossed while I was assessing it!
