Southend and Grimsby got a chance of picking up points as Carlisle are in terrible form and Tranmere have lost Vaughn for the season.

Barrow not playing mid week.

The pitch is looking lovely at Newport and they have built a massive new stadium for Maynard v Cook.

Harrogate already 1 up. I reckon Colchester have even more reason to worry than us.

Colchester a dark horse for that last relegation spot.
You've got to go there and come back, to know where you've been.

Both Cook and Maynard starting for their respective teams in the Newport v Bradford game.
No goals at half time.

Cook scored. 4 in 5 but yeah. Great work in the window.

I know. But Cook has shown we we shouldn’t have sent him.

Cook didn't even want to be here.

That’s not really relevant.

cook wasn't playing, cook didn't want to be here, his contract is up in the summer, cook wanted to go get first team football to earn a contract somewhere for next season.

You'd have to be a massive arsehole to not let him go out and play football on loan. We're doing alright tonight aren't we?

You’ve got to be a massive arsehole not to put in 100pc in your job.

Not saying he doesn’t. I just would have kept him for the bench.

Letting Cook know must only be a financial decision and it looks like it’s paid off as we are very close to being safe.

With his release and the injuries, it’s allowed Law to force his way into the team which has been brilliant.

A couple more wins and then I’m hoping James Clarke, Sinclair and Caine get the chance to impress.

He didn't want to be on the bench though.

I think it was a case of economics. It was too costly for he and Maynard to sit on the bench
