Yes he is. He has proven it over several jobs and he made a short term difference to a dreadful squad.

The only thing I can't work out is why someone would ask it after a few months

Clough is fine, most of the players he inherited are extremely poor.

New start next season, we shouldn't be offering new contracts to Sweeney or Benning, they have had their time.

What in heavens name happened to Gordon, 3 mins of mayhem?

What a rediculous thread. Why do some on here think we have a God given right to beat teams like Barrow ?

Pipe down mate. What the hell are you talking about? He has inherited one of the worst squads in our history. What the hell can he do? Stupid defensive errors are responsible for our current plight.

Cloughie is the right manager, but I do think he needs to explain the January transfer window, and why we’ve got 3 strikers out on loan and a injury prone replacement

There was no way that was ever going to happen. It was obvious early on in GC's tenure he wasn't up to the job. His signings were generally poor.

Clough totally messed up the transfer window and we are now down to bare bones......of rubbish. This may come back to haunt him. It is difficult to see where the next goal is coming from.
