I have recently interviewed ex Stag Colin Larkin, on his time at Mansfield.
Enjoy.

Good interview. What a great guy, loved his time with the Stags. And sounded almost sorry that he joined Chesterfield after us.

A great interview. Very emotional to hear how much he loved playing for us and living locally. Great to hear how much it meant to him to have fans approach him whenever he was down town. Clearly loved his time with us.

Colin Larkin played 70 minutes for Consett last night in the FA Cup Extra Preliminary Round. Still looked a class player and hit the post with a shot in the first half. Consett won 3-2 at Whickham.

Should've gone down as a legend for that goal at Cardiff. It never crossed the line when it was pulled back to him!

Great interview!
Colin Larkin has a deep affection for the club. So many ex-players have a great fondness for MTFC and frequently mention what a great club it is.
Also - full marks to the interviewer, who skillfully allows the subject to talk freely without interruptions. So many interviews can be be ruined by the interviewer liking the sound of their own voice or trying to impose themselves in some way. But not this chap. This interviewer humbly makes the interviewee feel very comfortable and let's them speak - which makes for a great interview. Looking forward to the next one!
