Man City’s 21 game winning streak amounts to the same number of league wins as we have managed since March 2019.

Keaton is probably training with us as he dropped to Ilkeston to play and left Barnsley. ilky's season's null and void so being as his Dad is on our coaching staff makes sense for him to keep fit that way.

I hate to admit it, but I think Man City might be better than us. Just shows how much a club can progress if they show a bit of ambition.

To think it was only 22 years ago we brushed them aside.

In all fairness i think even Sheikh Mansour would struggle to get us out of this lower league obscurity... I swear this club is cursed.. Does anyone know if the RH academy is built on top of an ancient native indian burial ground?

Andy Cook certainly cannot hold the ball up.

you must watch a different player to me

Cook was crap at holding the ball up though. I remember loads of comments about how big/strong he is, yet could not hold the ball well enough.

Maybe we've got an out of contract player training with the squad. Some managers don't like large squads.

Small squads are ok if all the players are of a decent quality.

You will always get injuries and suspensions, that's part of the game, but you need enough in numbers and quality to cater for those eventualities.

Frustrating again really, not as bad as the Harrogate game but I didnt think they were great, they were just playing for free kicks and we switched off and they scored, after that they didnt do anything and almost sat back, we couldn't create anything though, was very surprised he only gave Tyrese 5 minutes.

I am also unsure when he put Charsley on why he put him out on the right and moved Law into the middle, I thought Law looked a threat on the right and Charsley is meant to be a centre midfielder.

Man of the match for me was Law, he was aggressive in the tackle and everything good we did went through him.

I thought generally we did ok and tbh wasn’t over impressed with Bradford.
We are clearly light up top although with a bit of luck Law and Clarke could have both scored.
I’m more concerned with the two central defenders- you can point the finger at Bowery last night but in my view Rawson should have won the first header.
Clarke’s sending off didn’t look anything in real time so will be interesting where that one goes.
To compound things I had to drive past Bradford’s ground this morning on the way to work - v depressing

it all comes down to quality and a decision has been made that this squad who many have long contracts are not good enough to make up for a disastrous start to this campaigner.
With financial problems because of the covid pandemic, The hardest thing as fans is to focus on our goal having a club capable of a play off challenge next season, when hopefully fans will be back, Like many i am frustrated with a defence that gives goals away , and a strike force that is powder puff, we also just go with the flow and dont use the bench.
Behind the scenes the fans are kept in the dark, but i do know any player who is not committed to the club will be no benefit to our future plans.
A draw or win and it would be smiles, a odd goal defeat painful

Ollie Clarke made the second highest number of passes last night and had a better pass success rate than Stephen Quinn and Harry Charsley in midfield. Harry Charsley did not make much of an impact last night and I agree that Jason Law was playing better on the right and had to be moved to accommodate Charsley.

Total Passes
Farrend Rawson 56
Ollie Clarke 47
Ryan Sweeney 44
Malvind Benning 43
Kellan Gordon 43
Stephen Quinn 38
Jason Law 36
Jamie Reid 28
Jordan Bowery 23
Harry Charsley 18

Accurate Passes
Farrend Rawson 37
Ollie Clarke 32
Ryan Sweeney 31
Kellan Gordon 31
Jason Law 28
Stephen Quinn 25
Mal Benning 23
Jordan Bowery 20
Jamie Reid 18
Harry Charsley 11

Pass Success %
Jordan Bowery 87%
Jason Law 78%
Kellan Gordon 72%
Ryan Sweeney 78%
Ollie Clarke 68%
Farrend Rawson 66%
Stephen Quinn 66%
Harry Charsley 61%
Mal Benning 53%
Jamie Reid 50%

Key Passes
Jason Law 2
Harry Charsley 2
Jordan Bowery 1

Some are blaming NC for a poor January window. Whether people think it was a poor window or not, a couple new faces wasn't going to change the whole team.

I'm really looking forward to seeing what team he builds in the summer.

I agree to a point. I thought it was a poor window in that I felt it left us short of resources to stay.
Two strikers left one wasn’t recalled and only Sarkic came in up front.

As a result we are short of attacking options.

I think that is all fact and there for everyone to see on match day.

In Nigel we trust

The transfer window has not been as bad as Dempster's reign and Coughlan's managerial stint with us. While we're inconsistent on the pitch at the minute I feel like we've finally got the right man to lead us forward

Really disappointed in the transfer window, think we all knew Bowery Ried were not good enough to get us in with a chance of the play offs, which was a feasible option when you look at the likes of Bolton W
