He wasn't a bad player for us I don't think, he missed a lot of chances but still got like 14 goals I think that season. Plus that goal in last minute against county.
Props on him for coming out with his story though!
I get scared before games too. I never feel safe, and have anxiety attacks the closer we get to the final whistle even when winning 2 -0. I keep muttering, 'we need another' to myself. Had really bad time last night. I've tried giving it up, but I can't.

I met Kane away from football about a year after he left us. He was so excited to hear I was a Stags fan, and spoke about the club in glowing terms. He clearly enjoyed his time with us. I walked away thinking he is such a lovely guy. He even made an effort to shake my hand (pre COVID), before we parted.
I think his story emphasises that mental health problems can affect anyone, even those who appear strong on the outside. The plus point is he has sort help to deal with it.
