Usually May-June for Winter cabbage. The Greyhound cabbage will be in just after t'season's finished and we'll have a bumper crop come August if Mezz keeps the bods off. Seriously it'll get sorted this close season then that'll be one less thing to moan about.

Same company that Chelsea have re-laying their pitch, so it will be back to its best next season. They’re doing the RH pitches too I believe.

Might be helping us in these last few games, think it's 5 unbeaten at home.
They certainly played the pitch well last night.

This is our first signing May 3rd a major player next season, did it up --dig it up, so with a good playing surface, our home performances will only get better.

Reminds me of Lincoln’s pitch under John Beck! I seem to remember being at Sincil Bank and seeing a tractor on it not too long before kick off

Probably one of the locals who made a wrong turn along the way.

From the chad

Mansfield Town sorting out their pitch problems
After the pitch at the One Call Stadium, and many others nationally, suffered during a difficult season amid the pandemic, Mansfield Town are hard at work to bring their surface back up to top standard again.

Head groundsman Michael Merriman said: “Due to Covid, we didn’t have any renovation work done last summer.

“We were due to have the top taken off, a process called 'korrowed off', and were then due to turn it over to get some oxygen back in and water to percolate through it.

“But all of that got hit on the head because at the time we didn’t know if we were going to be playing or not. The winter we experienced added to it all.”

Maybe we could follow Wembley and have 95% grass and 5% artificial grass, seems to work great

Is there a live cam of said grass so I can watch it grow? It's the only thing coming through at the moment Stags wise.
