Good interview from Jimmy Goals.

Hopefully he’s still under contract with us next year as others have said. He looks a prospect and has improved in his time at Notts, he needed game time and being close to hone can only benefit him. I hope he can appreciate that when Clough said he could stay away it was for his development and not that he wasn’t in our plans.

My work colleague is a County fan and said he was lacking at the start of the season, mainly experience from not have much senior game time. Hopefully he gets a run until the end of the year and comes back much improved with a point to make!

Maybe former England, forest, Liverpool and man City striker Nigel Clough?

Correct, he has played for his country, two legendary club sides and Forest too.

Report from Notts post.

But helped by the introduction of Lewis Knight, Notts powered to victory as Knowles drew Notts level with a clinical finish and from that point on the Magpies were in command.

The on-loan Mansfield striker then put Notts in front when he showed superb composure to score from just outside the box and then he made sure of the points when he raced through to slot into the bottom corner.

Chuffed to bits for him, would be great if he had another year with county in the non league.

Looked and picked his spot every time. Jim can improve in the next year or so. He seems to have bulked up also. I remember a young Liam 20 years ago (is it really that long ago  ) he was given a chance after being discarded by Florist and he turned out one helluva player.
Would be nice to be singing 'there's only one Jimmy Goals' in the next season or two.

Woking’s defence has more holes than my grandad’s singlet.

Good finishes still.

I see that County and the Sheep are in the play offs. Love to see them have to play each other

If that was the final who would we want to win?

Torquay.

I don’t want either of them back up but if it were either, I think the crooked cheats as they will be going bust and straight back down. I really hope neither get up as the league has been compromised this year and is not a credible competition.

That’s like asking which of the two blokes you hate would you prefer to bang your missus.

But.... if the play off final is County v Sheep, then it’s a no brainer

Nigel Clough told BBC Radio Nottingham about Jimmy Knowles, Thursday 8th April 2021:
"We had a good chat in January about whether to bring him back or not, and we thought it was best for his development to leave him at Notts County.
"We're looking forward to seeing him in pre-season. All the young players will come back in pre-season and we'll assess things from there. Let's see if he's grown, got a bit stronger playing Conference football, and we'll assess him over the 5 weeks and see is he going to be part of the first team squad or go back out on loan."

The only argument for Chesterfield over county is Chesterfield have been down there longer. Its not a strong one.
