As always there are exemptions for work and being of British citizenship.
I know where I'd rather be though.

Me too, what time do they open and are the scratching still in date? Though don’t tell Forest Town Stag or Old Ram Stag where we are as it will cost a fortune.

Unless you have already got the right to remain pre Brexit.

Thinking of starting a business selling hour glasses, going to need to travel to the canaries, Australia, Barbados and try the different sand grains, purely for business reasons of course.

I wonder if the supreme court decision today will have much affect on JR’s insurance business.

I would have thought not. John's company is primarily car insurance.

There was a ruling today forcing insurance companies to pay out for business interruption due to Covid-19.

That's good. It's going to cost the insurance companies millions.

I wonder if any firms will opt for bankruptcy instead & pay out pennies in the £?

Let's see, but insurers are required to carry huge levels of capital for these sorts of liabilities by the PRA. Most claims are also from small businesses and there will be caps on the payouts under the policy.
Some insurers share prices also went up yesterday as the ruling means some policies won't pay out.
(The total claims for the first lockdown were estimated at £900m. Put this against the Hurricane Katrina claims estimated to be $50bln in the US).
