Spanish was what he was. Thought GC was the second coming but anyone with an ounce of football nouse could see his man management skills and tactical lack of ability were not going to auger well for t'future. He wanted to be proved that he was right but we all kew he was wrong so he chucked himself overboard.

Agreed. Maybe we could all try to be just a little bit nicer to each other, especially over lockdown.
Air your views in a respectful and appropriate way, respect others and don't make it personal.
I may agree with you, I may disagree with you, and I'm entitled to either view, but we don't need to make it personal.
All things said the only reason we are on here is because we support MTFC and that should be a common, rather than dividing factor.

We are lucky on here that we have the raspberrying swear filter and moderators that in general do a good job. I think a few years back there were calls for the blackberrying swear filter to be relaxed and a more 'adult' approach to posting to ensue. Thankfully it never came to pass and the sites set up to cater for those wanting to post from the bottom of their toilet bowl lasted about two or three flushes before they again reached for the sanctity and clean cosiness of the Stagsnet bog roll. It stands the test of time very well does this MB, like an old pair of slippers.
Admittedly occasionally there's the odd 'belter', 'bell' thorn than gets in the slippers or indeed you may occasionally step in some ar se gravy but in general it's reasoned discussion.
Some folk just have to be right all the time and stop posting if they're proven not to be. Some like me are a teenzy weeny bit negative at times and folk stop posting on here coz they think the place should be full of happy clappers. Then of course there's those that stop posting cos they don't like that chap that uses t' in front of every other word
