Why after the Cheltenham game? Something to do with cup tied?

Could be the money gained by getting in the next round.
It's a years wage we can use towards the salary cap.

eh probably because of the time it take to get a deal sorted from the window opening and possibly waiting to get one or two out the building before making new signings.

Not really, all we have to do is not register players who we can't get rid of.
Getting the right players in is the hard part, the money from the cup makes a great difference to the wage cap.

How does the cup money affect the wage cap?

I thought you could use cup money earned on top of the salary cap. I could be wrong.

I don’t think so but I may be wrong too.
You might be mixing it up with the rule that allows bonuses to be paid that relate to cup progression but that doesn’t change the salary cap, as far as I’m aware.
