2020 - Fewest Home League Wins in MTFC's History (2 Wins)

With the postponement of the Salford City home game today, I think that means the Stags have had the fewest home league wins in a calendar year in their history. 7 home games were not played due to the pandemic.

2 League Wins
25/01/20 Bradford City 3-0
15/02/20 Newport County 1-0

We have also not won a home league game before the New Year for the first time since 1971-1972 and 1909-1910. We finished 21st in Division 3 in 1971-1972 and were relegated. We finished 17th out of 19 teams in the Notts & Derbyshire League in 1909-1910.

We won 6 home league games in 1971 and 7 home league games in 1909.

Slightly unfair stats really, pre season training and weekly training affected by a pandemic.
No home crowds to give that usual lift to players and abuse to referees.

Oh and defenders having to stay 2 metres away from opposition, I think it's admirable our players respected this advice so much at the start of the season.
