Winnable game and some prize money to help in Jan... we played very well against Cheltenham away this year so lets go again. Nice chance at a cup run, Imagine getting another league two/ conference side in the 4th or 5th round? Stranger things could happen

It could’ve been a lot worse with Exeter or Newport away which were close. Being away means no pressure on us either so it’s a very winnable game.

Was anyone else watching the draw going “oh yes please” or “oh no please not them” depending on who was drawn out?!

I was thinking anyone at home it was very exiting plenty of no not them, and hoping for a home game, wow you could say we were never drawn out fancy being the last ball.
We are certainly under the radar and this is a winnable if by Jan we cant match any league 2 team we deserve to go out, and us being the underdogs is good.
Money and a good day out, for clubs like us, well we can consecrate on the league, and this match will come in Jan, and we can enjoy the break from league football and give it our best shot
£82-000 pounds to the winner some thing to play for, a nice new year bonus, lets creep quietly into the 4th round

All 32 FA Cup third-round ties will be broadcast live for the first time, with eight games free to air on the BBC.

Non-league Marine's game at home to Premier League leaders Tottenham on 10 January will be one of three FA Cup third-round ties shown live on BBC One.

The other two will be Crawley against Leeds United on the same day, and Arsenal against Newcastle on 9 January.

Five further fixtures, to be announced in due course, will be streamed live on the BBC Sport website and BBC iPlayer.

BT Sport will broadcast five games on TV and stream a further 11 online. The remaining eight will be broadcast on the FA Player.

Took this from the bbc website.
What's the FA player and is it free?

That's going to be a loss of revenue for us though, no live tv money and no iplayer money.
Let's hope fans are allowed back in January but it doesn't look likely.

None. We’ve had that. No prize for losing at this stage.
It’s 82k if we win the next game.

From FA website.....

Winning clubs in the Emirates FA Cup third round will receive £61,500 from the prize fund, with losing clubs receiving £20,500.

The change has happened because all games will be screened free or on BT sports tv.

Cheltenham will probably have 2000 fans in.

I'm not sure what the money would be if it was streamed on the FA Player. I'm sure that will come out in the coming few days.

interesting, as pointed out above, that this has now changed. It's changed in the last few days, since Rd 2 was played.

It is now £61,500 for winners and £20,500 for losers in Rd 3.

So the FA Cup money we've made or will make so far is:

broadcast money: Rd1 £18,000; Rd2 £12,500; Rd 3 £20,000

prize money: Rd1 £16,972; Rd2 £25,500, Rd 3 £61,500 for winners and £20,500 for losers
