We were world beaters for the 6 games previous to tonight. We put in an abject display and we are relegation fodder

We are knackered and I sincerely hope Clough is using it as a yard stick on the players. Play an XI and see how long they last until they "fall apart". If Clough carried on and goes unbeaten in 6 and then loses the 7th game I can take that. We will see what team he plays in the next league game.

Yes, I'm worried. Young Nigel has much to do to keep this bunch of wasters up. That's his only objective. 22nd or bust. A third of the season gone and 11 points. We had a point more in 07\08 after 14 games and were relegated

I was extremely worried under Coughlan and feel if we had continued with his tenure we would have slipped into non league.

I now have no worries in that direction and feel we will be safe by the end of March.

We will climb the table. Tonight was just a blip. Think teams like Scunthorpe, Stevenage and Southend will be more likely to fight the drop. Or will it be some current mid-table side sliding just like York did when they dropped out of the league for first time in 2004 by winning NONE of their then last 20 games? Still a long way to go.

Nope.

In hindsight this may turn out to be a good result for us. It’ll highlight deficiencies and those not good enough than a draw.

Yes... this current crop of players is more than capable of taking us down... Think we're relying on Southend and scunny being worse (or bust).
This season is purely a rebuilding exercise now & staying up will be a bonus.

Not yet. Once Clough can make some changes in January we will be fine this season. People don't half get carried away on here, beat Sunderland and Forest Green and a win in that awful trophy and folk werent writing off top 7

This side is gash, Coughlans recruitment has been awful. It'll take NC 2/3 windows to fix this mess

Similar to a team who've won one of thier first 14 then.

Not worried but realistically this team is poor. Nigel will do well to get us anywhere near mid table. I blame the previous incumbents for the mess we’re in. A ridiculous situation.

Not Nigel's fault I agree. All down to the clown before and his poor recruitment.

Last week some were saying we are only ex number of points off the playoffs. Getting into the playoffs with the players we have was unrealistic.

I feel the same way about relegation.

In Nigel Clough we have an experienced manager who has enough about him to keep us from being relegated. Let's face it, before he was appointed that's all we were asking for.

We need to keep the faith, especially if some fans are allowed to attend matches. He will rebuild us.

I always worry when a manager in a post match interview criticises a player over a mistake ,we suddenly have a dip in form and results.

Can remember starting season quite well and Clarke tried that worldie when 2-0 up ,then drew 2-2 GC making it clear he was not happy in post match interview.

Last match Non-stech making a mistake and NC letting it known he was not happy in is post match interview.

Don't know if it effects the players and the team with the manager being so open in there post match interviews :?:

Ollie Clarke did ok against Exeter and Newport after the Orient game before he got injured. We have to remember that Ollie has been injured this season. He's only started 6 league games which is the fewest of our main midfield players. I'm sure he will improve as he plays more regularly. I do the like the fact that he has a good engine on him and keeps going until the end.

If we are in the bottom two after 23 games then I will start to worry. Nigel Clough has experience of relegation scraps from The Championship and that will be useful. He just needs to keep us in the league this season.

Bolton won 3 in a row and now 3 points off playoffs..... absolutely tin pot league.

Need to put a run together asap and we will be fine
