All a bit safe and pedestrian. Has hard as Bowrey works he never looks like getting in a goal scoring position. None of the midfield are getting beyond the forwards like Laplie has been doing in awy games. They stick two om Maynard and we don't look like scoring. The ref isn't helping the game blowing up at very challenge.

It's been quite poor.
Beat me to it , long throws and replace Rhead with Beck and it’s a Paul Cox team . Stop any free flowing football , break up all rhythm and making the most of what they have . Deservedly in front and absolutely horrible to watch.

The midfields has not looked as good with Clarke in there instead of Maris, which is surprising as we all expected Clarke to be the main man.
He’s not as good on the ball, and Lapslie doesn’t get forward as much with Clarke as he does with Maris in the middle.

Clough needs to earn his corn tonight. Another home game, another without a win, it's unacceptable.

What are you talking about you clown. I’m saying I hope he’s ready to get stuck in to the team after a dismal first half. Absolutely no dig at Clough whatsoever, and I’m quite aware Maris is injured.

They need to speed things up and stop launching the ball forward in the air.
Harrogate are finding their men far too easily and we are miles off them. Clarke is not offering a lot when he should be the man getting stuck in and leading the way. Perch has saved us a few times and I’m just glad he’s on the pitch. We need to stop looking for worldly passes and make sure the pass completes to the man. Simplicity is the way to beat these. Get organised.

It's alright being organised and breaking well away from home, but at home you need to dominate teams and push them back with some sustained pressure. Don't know if these lads have it in them. Certainly need Cooks presence in the box earlier rather than later.

There’s a lot about this Mansfield team I don’t like. And we’ve seen it all in the first half.
Stech and Rawson always seem capable of a wayward clearance. McLaughlin can’t defend. The midfield has been pretty anonymous. And there’s been little hold-up or link-up play from the front two.
A much better second 45 is needed by all involved.

Clarke still isn't match fit, you can see that from a mile off.
I'd give it another 15 minutes and if no change I'd take Clarke and Bowery off for O'Keefe and Cook and go 4-4-2 to get plenty of crosses in for Cooky.
O'Keefe at right back and Gordon on the wing.
The other option might be Sweeney for Clarke, with Perch going into midfield

Well, I think it's starting to show that we've played 6 games in 3 weeks and most of the players have played the full 90 minutes in each game (bar Maris and Clarke who have swapped halfway or so through the run of 6 games) and some players have played games before this run too.
We ain't going to win every game but we looked leggy last 20 minutes or so on Friday and look leggy from the off tonight. Give em a rollicking and 15 minutes to get the goal back or make wholesale changes. We have enough on the bench to not be weakened.
I'd be tempted to bring on O'Keeffe and Cook at half time inject a bit of fresh legs into the side. Take off Bowery and Clarke

To be honest, he could take four or five them off. Wash't expecting this, very lacklustre.
Maynard needs to get himself in the game, McLaughlin is having a mare.
Perch and Gordon the only two above average.
15 minutes max for this lot to show they can get back in the game or he'll make a triple change on 60 mins.
Come on lads, we're so much better than this.

As the players took the knee prior to the game this evening could anyone tell me who it was for? Was it for Emily Jones the young white English girl brutally slain by an Albanian woman or doesn’t her life matter?
The Albanian woman is in court today, so I wondered if that is who the players are remembering?

Completely agree broomo, Perch and Gordon apart the rest have been poor.

Some druggie woman beater from America apparently that didn't comply with police requests.
What a strange year 2020 has been.

In fairness all teams are playing the same games under the same timeframe so I wouldn’t expect the “we’ve played 6 games in 3 weeks” excuse to be trotted out
