I'd like to know what they are doing so far forward.
I always thought they should never be more than 3 feet away from the back 3.
It's brilliant isn't it.

Great save from Stech. We’re under a bit of pressure just before halftime.

Marek Stech makes a fanstic save from point blank range. Then makes another stop from a corner.

After that half, just simply don't know how were bottom 3. As I've said previously. This team has quality, GC hadn't a clue what to do with them. A footballing man-manager showing us what we were missing.

Cheers Graham.

Typical of these arseholes to have the camera out in the rain.

To be fair to Coughlan, he received some very unfair criticism about recruitment. This squad is oozing with quality for our level and I would guess the wage bill was significantly lowered.

His tactics and leadership skills were clearly lacking though. To be so poor with these players really is an achievement in itself!

Brilliant half for 35 minutes but we’ve done really well to get into half time 2-0 up. They were starting to work out where the spaces are in our set up, Moore-Taylor picking some nice passes and that needs sorting at half time.

Brilliant play by Macca for the first and aberration by Adams for the second.

Just hoping the rain doesn’t ruin things for us.

Forest Green are one of the better sides in this league. They've huffed and puffed but we've dealt with them quite well. Going forwards we absolutely ooze quality. Every game begs the same question, what the hell was Coughlan playing at. Stay on the front foot and make sure the next goal is ours. The only way back for FGR is the ref. A bit card happy. Mal on a yellow and a couple of fouls after. Maybe an early sub for Okeefe.

Very, very good first half from Mansfield. McLaughlin, Lapslie and Charsley all look dangerous going forward. And we’ve limited Forest Green to one real chance just before half-time.

Big second half coming up!

Biggest threat to us is FGR trying to get the ref to abandon the game if the heavy rain continues.

Any chance FGR will moan at ref to get it abandoned.

Been living the life in Asda but that’s terrific news. Amazing what can happen when you play players where they belong and give them tactics.

from what I’ve seen a good game so far for lapsie and bowery - which is pleasing to see.

Hold on boys.

HT: Forest Green Rovers 0 Mansfield Town 2

Very good first half for the Stags with goals from midfielders George Lapslie and Harry Charsley; and assists from Stephen McLaughlin and Jordan Bowery.

When was the last time two midfield players scored for the Stags in a league game?

I hope the rain stops. I don't want another game at FGR to be abandoned. I'm still drying out after the last time 2 years ago.

Looking at my bets I need 6 more stags corners and 1 more goal for £92.

Also, Farrend Rawson to score a goal for £47. And a FGR goal, 6 more corners and 20 more booking points for £41.

So if Rawson scores and we take 6 corners and FGR get a late consolation I'll be up £180.

Come on stags.
