I think one of the main differences with Bowery (and not to take anything away from his really good performances) is that he is getting more support from the midfielders and wingers.

He's not as isolated.

Got a good feeling we will win this by a tight margin. Fingers crossed for a good performance tomorrow.

Solid 2.0 win for us with a dominant defensive performance. Both goals coming from midfield.

I've gone for Rawson to score anytime at 22/1 and had a punt at 1st scorer at 50/1 I feel he's been getting close to scoring recently at corners.

If Sweeney plays, well it be the first time 2 brothers have played against each other for the stags.
2-2

Did we play Newport when the two holdsworth brothers were in charge? as close to that as I can think

Also today would like cook to score like he did last time we were at FGR.... We've not seen the best of him yet which is a shame, we need to get him playing and scoring.

Didn't we have a game televised on the strength of that but by the time the game came round one or both of them had been sacked?

Edit: just looked at the old match reports & both Holdsworths were in charge in the game at Newport in the September.
Facts do not cease to exist because they are ignored.

Arnt we meant to have a designated player developed by the youth team on the bench??? Or have the rules been changed.

I know we all feel great after Clough was named manager, and we've had two good cup wins, but Forest Green are 3rd in the league, I cant wait to be proved wrong, but I cant see us beating them, unless we've watched the FA Cup game when they lost 6-2 to Lincoln ;)

I was wondering that as well.

33.11 Club Developed Players. Subject to Regulation 33.12 each Club shall be required to nominate at least one Club Developed Player on their Squad List on each occasion that it is due for submission, or on their Team Sheet of Players for all League Competition Matches (including Play Off Matches). Where any Club does not name a Club Developed Player on the Team Sheet, that Club will only be permitted to name up to six substitutes on that League Team Sheet (rather than the seven as permitted by Regulation 33.4).

33.12 If any Club has prior to the date of the applicable League Competition Match (including Play Off Matches) transferred the registration of two or more Club Developed Players and:
33.12.1 in consideration for the transfer of each Club Developed Player’s registration, the Club receives an initial Transfer Fee, Compensation Fee and/or compensation in accordance with the Youth Development Rules on transfer of the registration; and
33.12.2 each of the transferred Club Developed Players:
(a) are, as at the date of the applicable Match registered as a Contract Player with a Club (or club) in the same division or higher (including, in the case of a Championship Club, the Premier League); and
(b) are or will be aged 24 or under on 1 January in the Season in which the applicable Match occurs,
then, the Club will not be required to comply with the requirements of Regulation 33.11.

Guidance

For Season 2020/21 this means any Player aged 24 or under on 1 January 2021, and for Season 2021/22 this means any Player aged 24 or under on 1 January 2022.

33.13 For the avoidance of doubt, the same Player may qualify as a Home Grown Player and a Club Developed Player for the purposes of this Regulation 33.11

I have no idea but you would have to believe we’ve got it sussed

Is the rule they have to be from our academy or just under 21, if so would stone count?

and on stone, I learned recently that Eric steele recommended him to Man united to sign but they went with Dean Henderson instead, We've got a gem of a future keeper I think.

Found that. I don't think the rules on it have changed since then.
