Maybe it's time for women to become football managers to set better examples. Carolyn would surely support that.

I actually feel the same way about the men's Cup Final now and have done for years. After Rnd 1 I usually lose all interest.
Me too. It’s lost all the magic since they shifted it to 5pm to please international fans. I used to love watching it too especially in the 80’s when coverage would start at 9am and last right up until kick off at 3pm.
And shown on both the BBC and ITV, which normally meant flicking between the 2 channels for the build up.

Wrong again there Spanish...True that in the WSL & championship there is only the London City lionesses who are not tied into current men's teams ie man City, Chelsea etc but at national league & national league one level there's loads of teams that are not associated with current men's teams.
What this has to do with us potentially having a female manager though I do not know? You've told us a hundred times your feelings on women's football I think we've got it by now!

We get it Spanish, you are spending your days being ‘blown out’ by all the pretty senoritas and ladies on holiday and have decided to take it out on the women’s game. Let it go..

Having said that, I do enjoy some female sports. Beach volleyball is a particular favourite of mine.

I suppose Tennis is the sport that Women have had the most exposure over the past 50 years or so and has created many household names. It is watchable too without too much comparison to the men's game.bellwhiff wrote:Women’s football is not good to watch. It’s rubbish and particularly the standard of goalkeeping.

Although tennis is a weird game in that only the very last point played matters (the other points played are irrelevant).
It's also weird in that a point is worth a different amount depending on the previous points played and one player can be awarded a different amount of points for winning a rally compared to their opponent.
ie score is 30-15 (if server wins the next point the server is awarded only 10 points but if the receiver wins then they get 15???), I am surprised no one has complained mid game regarding the inequality to the umpire.

I remember watching an interview with Emma Heyes where she said that the goals need to be made smaller in the women’s game, due to the physical differences of men and women. Makes sense to me.
