Did he use our third sub? Why didn’t Maynard come on?

Elsewhere, Oldham losing. Southend losing
Stockholm, July 4, 2008, 15.00 GMT. Good news came, K.H. gone. March 1, 2012. Ground purchased.

It’s beggars belief.
You’ve got Maynard there, one of the better forwards in the league and instead you bring on a lad with all the skill of a blind 3 legged dog.
If someone could please try to explain the rationale behind that I’d love to know what it is.

Still Coughlan out though innit.
You've got to go there and come back, to know where you've been.

What did Bowery do? I didn’t see him have any impact on the game at all.

And it goes on. Whats the record for games without a win? Is the blueprint to stay one point above relegation?
Expect an absolute tanking on Saturday with our defence, not one of them up to league standard.

I cannot recall him touching the ball. Feeble attempts at trying to win it.

Now if we had a decent manager around 75 mins Maynard would have come on and we would have tried to win it.... Bowrey flipping hell what does he see that we don't????

You’re never going to be competing near the top of the table when your manager honestly prefers Bowery over the likes of Maynard and Cook. Says it all.
Teams that compete at the top don’t pick strikers for their ‘running’ over strikers who are clearly better goal scorers.

Result fine in isolation but in the context of the whole season it’s not good enough. Game was there for the taking tonight. An improved performance but it didn’t take much to improve on Saturday.

a good point after losing the early goal but i really don't how Bowery even gets on the bench.
He's stealing a wage from our owners

7 games and no win. Uses 2 subs out of 3 and 1 is ineffective and the other did OK. No better or worse than the player he replaced. Gordon and O'Keeffe struggled on the left after Sinclair came on.
If this was the first game of the season I'd be saying it was decent and showing good signs. But we are 7 games into the season (10 if you count cups) and got no win and playing well for a quarter of the game gets you nowhere. He needs to win the next 3 to have any hope of having a job.

My detailed match assessment:
B
O
R
I
N
G
Cook worked his ass off... Obvious to everyone in the world apart from Graham 'talks agood game' coughlan that he needed support (even told the manager himself!) ...so the buffoon brings him off and puts on old eeyore.
Can't take much more of this team!
Thank the lord for IPTV... feel sorry for anyone who is actually paying for this dog poo.

Little bit of an improvement but nothing to get excited about.
Gordon did well and hopefully we see him more this season.
Beyond me why he put Bowery on instead of Maynard, he is terrible.
I can’t help but think he started cook on his own uptop to set him out to fail so he can drop him on Saturday.
After 3 minutes I’d of taken a point.

Bowery, what a complete waste of a wage and he gets on the pitch every game. Doesnt say much for our strike force.
