Having just seen the goals I’m not surprised about the comments regarding defending. Their second goal has to be the worst defending by a defensive unit I’ve seen for years. Actually embarrassing to watch. The Benning error is just comedy gold and does happen from time to time. Hopefully that’s most of the rubbish defending gone before the season starts for real, but you wouldn’t have a wager on it

We should give this team a few weeks to gel and judge after 6 games or so.

However, our general overall play isn't great at the moment.

I would have thought we would have had nearly our starting 11 playing tonight to give them chance to gel in a 'real life' game but no.

We do need a midfielder, that is obvious and hopefully the club are doing there best to make it happen.

onwards and upwards, roll on Saturday a 2 - 0 victory will send this message board into silence !!!
