Looked up maybe a fraction late to know the answer, but why was Menayese so far out of position? He’s been a bit error prone tonight.

To be fair Billy, I don't think you've ever felt positive about anything judging by your posts on here.

Not sure the ref is up to the job (just getting the ref excuse in before anyone else does).

Not an official game of course, but would be nice to see us get a win and some prize money.

Basically another pre-season friendly

Looks like 23rd in the league will be a struggle for us ,from what I've seen so far.Wonder what the record is for goals conceded in a season?

Throughout all of pre season and preston and tonight has showed me that our only decent centre back is ryan Sweeney.

Clarke & Sinclair have been at the heart of anything positive from us. Clarke in particular looks impressive, gets about the pitch well but is composed on the ball.

I too have concerns about the defence from what I’ve seen throughout pre season. At times our positioning is suspect - I worry about how they will fare when the pressure goes up in the league and opposition teams are on top for spells. Time will tell of course, too early to make a proper judgement as we haven’t seen much in pre season that resembles a league 2 game.

He's good on the ball, but not sharp enough defensively. Sinclair is consistently good, and Ollie Clarke had a commanding half. Maynard needs a few more games to get up to speed.
Some good play from the Stags, but City are better organised and much more incisive.

All about opinions let’s just hope we are more organised come Saturday I some how doubt it, not been impressed at all with any of the defensive signings can some honestly say any of them are better than Pearce ??

Hard to compare our new defenders after playing 45 minutes against a good U21 team compared to 5 years of league two football
