Perch played for Wigan, obviously a connection with Sharpe.

Had played and scored in all four top divisions, a good record.

It mirrors the Neal Bishop signing a couple of years ago from Scunny although Perch is younger.

Bishop was brilliant in his first season with us, hopefully we get more of the same.

absolutely no reason to think he will just go through the motions, in my opinion. It's his hometown club, I don't think he'll want to go out on a low, so to speak.
