Does anyone know how many season tickets have been sold.

I called in when I went past on Tuesday to see if the tickets were ready but was told another 2 weeks,

I did ask if they had sold out but there are still some available.

I think there were only about 1700 available so would guess around 1400-1500

They are still only selling to existing season ticket holders as person in front was enquiring about getting a new one and were told they could not buy one at present.

From Bolton News

iFollow home games free for season ticket holders whilst stadiums are operating at zero or limited capacity. £10 per game for non season ticket holders for home games and £10 per game for all fans for away games and cup games.

"Wanderers season ticket holders will be given passes to stream to home games on iFollow, the club has confirmed. After weeks of discussions between clubs, the EFL and major broadcasters, it has now been agreed that games can be streamed online while stadia are operating at a zero or limited capacity because of COVID-19. Clubs will be unable to offer access to away fixtures, however, as part of the season ticket package – and will broadcast at a charge of £10 per game. All first round games in the Carabao Cup will also be broadcast via iFollow at a £10 fee. That means fans who have not bought a season ticket will have to fork out at least £40 to watch the four confirmed games in September, with season ticket holders paying £20 for the Bradford City cup match and Colchester away.

It is currently unclear whether the October 3 game at Harrogate – which now looks likely to be played at Doncaster Rovers’ Keepmoat Stadium – will be entirely behind closed doors."

T'club were probably aware you access t'internet on a 1990s Wii, have wifi slower than t'speed of dial-up, get an allergic reaction at t'thought of watching iFollow rather than listening to 102.3, and finally realised that you thought that an email address was something to do with our longest serving player emal Benning.

But other than that, what could possibly go t'wrong?

Maybe as a softener, the club should have given full ifollow subscriptions to season ticket holders and not just matchday passes. I’m sure it wouldn’t have cost the club much if anything and fans would feel they were getting something for the extra outlay.

As a bonus, some of those season ticket holders may renew subscriptions in following years as they get used to watching clips highlights etc. which means the club could also benefit in future years. Some may even pay more for a season ticket/ifollow joint subscription if that package were available in the future.

Bolton have sold over 7,000 season tickets and Port Vale have sold over 4,000 at the end of their early bird offer.

Grimsby chairman Phillip Day has issued a statement detailing the potential for fans to return to Blundell Park forecasting the club will be able to welcome between 1,800 and 2,200 when allowed.

Out of interest has any one any idea how much Bolton and Port Vale are charging for their early bird season tickets?

Sorry Martin, I maybe didn’t make myself clear. I wasn’t talking about access to away games but the standard ifollow subscription bought in standard years ie commentary only along with the interviews, ability to watch highlights etc. If that is also banned then fair enough for future years.

I couldn't attend the Preston Away game due to COVID restrictions so my streak of not missing a game has been reset again to zero. I will also lose my 30 year season ticket streak on 12th September too as I too have decided against purchasing one for a multiple of reasons. Hopefully if things improve I will be back season 2021/22.

Given the uncertainty of things, the cost in very uncertain times and on the back of last season which was er, not great it's not a bad effort
