If it's a one off, a rollicking and a fine would be sufficient. Mellis & Donohue both had lots of previous for off field twattery.

We do like an over reaction on this board.
Just as long he was following the social distancing rules.

I suspect a lot will depend on what the police do. Quite frankly he shouldn’t be out of his head at this stage of pre season. I don’t think it’s a smart move when 1400 professionals are out of work.
He’s a young man and I hope he gets the chance to learn from it.

Apparently he was an idiot in Portugal last preseason and was lucky not to get thrown out of the club then.

Strangely enough, this has never been raised on here before.
If true, he had shown enough under Coughlan to be kept on the retained list so he had turned a corner.

If it nothing more than a rumour, yet again one of our players had been trashed on our fan site

Towards the end of the season, after GC's training, he was a much improved player, one I hoped would step up to the plate next season.

On this entire thread no one has said what he was even supposed to have done.
You've got to go there and come back, to know where you've been.

My thoughts exactly. There was an early hint that the police were involved but no flesh on the bones which is why I asked for detail of time and place etc.

It would appear that it is nowhere near as serious as last year's debacle but people are calling for his head.

Maybe we should take a step backwards.

I’ve seen pictures of quite a strong police presence at the cockle last night. I wasn’t there so I can’t say for certain how heavily he was involved, but there’s been numerous people saying the same thing. Heard he was arrested.

I’m sick of having players like that at our club, it’s poor. Whether he put someone in hospital like Donahou or not is irrelevant. Get the idiots out of the club.

There is a video on snapchat. Hear a man shout his name then cuts to him on floor being arrested

This.
And before someone says “he’s young and can make mistakes”, That’s utter raspberrys. Get him out of our club immediately. I’m sick to death of raspberries below par league two footballers thinking they’re Lionel Messi. Giving it the big I’m a pro footballer earning a bit more than Joe bloggs. Piss off Tomlinson. You’re not even average, you’re crap.
I feel better now....going for a cuppa and a sit down

Obviously don’t know the bloke but he looks like the sort of lad who wouldn’t say boo to a goose.

Thought he would be one of GC’s good honest boys but he’s really not good enough to be taking liberties the sort of which have been alleged, not that being a good player would excuse his behaviour of course, just surprised he would think so.

If true, bin now and move on.

Is it really that hard to just behave normally, even if drunk?

Doesn't sound as bad as last season's incident, but it's about respect isn't it. For the job, the club, the manager etc.

 the question is whats the rest of the team up to if he is out on a bender.

Now we are in pre-season training GC needs to get a grip of this and have a word with all players.

Would hope this is a one player incident .

The lad is a world of trouble and if he pleads not guilty he will add being an idiot to his crimes. He is young enough to turn his life around with the help of the club if he doesn’t his time here is done. Anyone got Timi Elsnik’s number?
