Same sort of goal he scored against Nottingham County.

As I thought, he will be worth at least a £1M after all. He just needed good management, of which he received very little here. Well done CJ.

He just needed to actually play in his preferred position and not be moved constantly,at times here he ended up playing three different positions in the same match, add to this he has actually got a midfield to help him out helps him too.

Nothing changed with CJ on here then, people still forget after a good game how inconsistent he is, and after he plays a stinker they forget what he’s capable of!

Another good goal by CJ Hamilton catching Lincoln playing out from the back.
Brennan Johnson (on loan from Forest), who looked lively as a sub against Charlton Athletic on Sunday, also won two penalties for Lincoln which allowed Jorge Grant to score his 3rd and 4th goals of the season. Johnson could prove to be a better player than Tyler Walker. Lincoln's winner also came from a Jorge Grant corner and Dutch centre half, Lewis Montsma, scored his 5th goal of the season.

No matter how CJ plays, he’s a lot more exciting to watch than any other player we’ve had for years. In the right position he usually plays well. He will only get better at Blackpool.
Is anyone excited to watch any of our current players? I’m not.

Didn't you get excited when he brought Bowery on yesterday as he certainly was a game changer?

I said previously that Jordan Bowery might become the equivalent of Jimmy Spencer under Steve Evans where we only bring him on to try and hang on to a lead. It did work for Evans for most of the time apart from Accrington away. However it has never worked under DF, JD and GC!! The best form of defence is to keep going forward.

People need to stop thinking of Jordan Bowery as a target man though. People think he is one, but he's terrible at it. Can't win headers and has a first touch like a Sunday League player most of the time.

Completely agree, not at all surprised he is doing well and, whilst I understand why we sold him, we are very much the worse without him.

Afolayan was pretty good at it but we hardly ever got a lead to hold onto.

The most difficult thing is that most of the players we let go or who left the club are now playing in an higher league
Does this tell us something?....

Yes, that we've got rid of our best players.

Exactly... And it can’t always be down to wages... ok I get that CJ wanted better his career... and Blackpool will be better
Off with him ... trouble is we always take two steps forward and 4 back..

Still, it’s good for the soul to see him scoring for fun while our cloggers are kicking into the carpark

Can only hope we’ve got a decent selling on clause for him.
Would be madness if there wasn’t

If CJ carries on and has a season like he did here he will be in the championship next year no doubt. Blackpool struggling though which is a surprise!

Glad CJ is doing well, he always had it in him.
If he was still playing in this team he’d still look like the same old player, a good move for him.

I’m sure MTFC will reap the benefits if he manages to find consistency.
