Who else is watching?

Will Exeter bottle it as usual?

It’s such a poor league this season. All these teams are pretty average. Cheltenham impressed me most of the four so I’ll plump for them. God knows how Northampton are in there, they couldn’t even beat us in two attempts!

Feels like we really missed out this year. If we'd have had last seasons form this season would we have been promoted?

Also that Exeter kit is criminal

No, we’d have finished 6th with last seasons point tally this season. But there’s no doubt last seasons league was a lot harder IMO.

Had the league been curtailed at the same stage last season as it has this, we were 4th with 65 points but a game in hand, so would have gone up on PPG.

This game is dire, both teams lacking any skill. Makes me rue that we ever appointed Dempster this year. This league was there for the taking this season.

How bad have we been this season to have finished 20 points behind this lot?

Hoping Colchester go up. Terrible away day and a pretty soulless club. Enjoy the trip to the other 3 so that’s enough reason for me to be an armchair U’s fan for a couple of games.

True, it's a shocking away day off the edge of the A12.
You've got to go there and come back, to know where you've been.

Why bother playing two legs. Should have had semis and final on one neutral ground in space of 4 days.

How about, to ensure compliance with social distancing, a game of cross bar challenge played on a school field. Last man standing gets their team promoted.

1-0 to Colchester in a game that had 0-0 written all over it. But one moment of quality in a great free kick from Cohen Bramall gives ColU the advantage.

Good strike but questionable goalkeeping.

Owen Evans. Kept two clean sheets against us this season for two different clubs. Bet that hasn’t happened too often.

Totally agree, season was over losing all those early home games.

Very entertaining game and Cheltenham good value for their two goal lead.

in open play, they are a very ordinary side. But they come alive from set pieces, with excellent delivery from Nicky Adams and those monster long throws from Charlie Goode, and that is the reason they reached the play-offs.
