Donohue spent more minutes on pitch than Davies

Khan has to be a poor signing too, apart from his 2 goals in his first game against Newport he did absolutely sod all else. Saying that, flitcroft paid money for him and then hardly ever played him. Would imagine he'll be off tomorrow

lifestags wrote:Interesting one if your cj, do you stop with a security of a contract (players will want stability just like everyone else)

Or does he risk being a free agent with the thousand of other players, I doubt many clubs will be paying transfer fees for players so a bigger club may take a punt on him if he is a free.

If JR is certain this season won’t finish and he was going to “back us” again next season then he could sign players early, players who wouldn’t normally come to us/our level may want the security of a contract. We will also free up a load of money on wages on players like Davies/Mellis.

Not sure what will happen with Bolton , will they start the season without this seasons point deduction. If they don’t and Flitcroft comes knocking I reckon CJ would not think twice.

Can see Davies joining up with Bolton and his mate Mellis.

Hill and Flitcroft seem to be admirers of his.

If we could have kept Davies fit and playing regularly I think he would have been a good player for us so maybe someone will take a punt even on pay as you play deal.

in the two games I saw of him, he was great for this level. The type of striker we needed, defenders hate him and he can finish. Shame but thats the risk with players not in their prime coming to this level.

It most certainly was not Bishop...….Im told he did upset the dressing room but that was by speaking up about what was going on and not standing for it.

Stop second guessing on who were the bad apples.....
All that matters is the CLUB know who they were and have or will sort it !!

Bishop put a post on Instagram regarding the league 2 season being finished with a hint, perhaps tongue in cheek, towards retirement.

Might suggest that he knows he’s not being given a contract here and if so it’s the right call.

I am with Johnny H on this. In a season with so much nastiness, bitterness and ill feeling just let it go. We have seen, by recent events, that the club are heading in the right direction again. Trust them to get it right.

Two have already gone and the other two did buckle down a bit under GC but the damage had already been done. One of those players surprised everyone by his behaviour as it was totally out of character and it is thought he was heavily influenced by the others as they all travelled together. It apparently started by disrespectful comments and just grew and got out of control knocking all confidence out of the team.

Players travelling up from Birmingham? - Krystian Pearce, Matt Preston and Mal Benning?

....possibly picking players up from Nottingham? - Jacob Mellis, CJ Hamilton?

Just guessing.

JR said Friday...

Yorkshire Stag hasn't been on and posted "tick tock" yet so they're clearly waiting for that to happen first

I thought it was unlikely to be CJ Hamilton but there was apparently some dissent in the camp regarding Dempster being too soft on CJ and letting him miss training sessions or leave training sessions early so he could visit his girlfriend in London.

Not for us he didn’t , unless you’re counting the cups, in which case you’re right. I don’t remember Donohue playing a single meaningful minute
