Accrington Stanley pay an undisclosed transfer fee to Blackpool for Michael Nottingham who comes from Birmingham.

When was the last time Accrington paid a transfer fee?

"Cheltenham Town have signed midfielder Ellis Chapman on a free transfer from League One side Lincoln City. The 19-year-old had been in talks over a new deal at Sincil Bank but was allowed to leave after failing to agree a deal."

I'm surprised that Lincoln let this young lad go for free.

Nathan Cameron played for DF in his League 2 promotion team at Bury in 2014-2015. He trained with us pre-season in 2018-2019 but was injured against Derby County.

"The Stags made 9 changes on 59 minutes. Only Will Atkinson remained from the first half in 3-5-2 formation:

Bobby Olejnik;
Paul Digby, Nathan Cameron (on trial), Lewis Gibbens (youngster);
Will Atkinson, Calum Butcher, Jacob Mellis, Omari Sterling-James, CJ Hamilton;
Lee Angol, Jordan Graham (youngster).

The Stags made it 1-0 on 65 minutes. The goal stemmed from the Stags pressing Derby, and Derby keeper Kelle Roos attempted a hurried clearance, which went straight to Jordan Graham just inside the area. Graham took a couple of touches before skilfully dinking the ball over the keeper into the net. It was good pressing from the Stags forward line and an intensity that the first half team had not shown.

A good clearance by Cameron on 67 minutes. Then a great challenge by young Gibbens a minute later.

Derby equalised on 70 minutes. A quick free kick taken by Bryson to his left to his left to Bradley Johnson whose low shot from 25 yards was pushed away by Bobby Olejnik. David Nugent knocked the ball back from the byline to Mason Bennett who knocked into the net from 7 yards. The goal came with trialist defender Nathan Cameron off the field with an injury.

Young Nyle Blake replaced Cameron. The Stags switched to 4-4-2 with no player available to slot in as the third centre half to replace Cameron."

yeah if they were a free agent before Friday

ones who would add something to us..

Jackson Irvine
Duncan Watmore
George Thorne
Rhys Bennett
Callum McFadzean
Samir Carruthers

and a lot of players who played in the championship all available if they were desperate to keep playing.

Id love to have him back, was a brilliant find by Murray at the time.

Irvine and Thorne would take our midfield to the next level... Probs out of price range and Thorne can never stay fit which is a shame, he could have played in the premier league

Totally agree but Rhys will have salary expectations that would likely blow our salary cap (is it’s not maxed out already!). Good players are still used to good money won’t get out of bed for less than £x grand a week

Ive got a feeling that were probably under the salary cap a bit... im not sure how it works but we don't have the biggest squad and surely we'd leave some room to bring in extra players if needed throughout the season?

I think all those free agents will just be looking for a fair wage now.
