Scunthorpe signed 5 today.

Was surprised how many of their fans want Neal Bishop back  that said i suppose they haven’t seen him for 2 years

Morecambe have signed experienced defender Nat Knight-Percival on a one-year deal.

Carlisle United have signed defender George Tanner on a two-year contract.

Scunthorpe United have signed Emmanuel Onariase, Aaron Jarvis, Lewis Spence and Kelsey Mooney, and given a new deal to new club captain Jordan Clarke.

Jones definitely not, but Taft is a good player.

I think George Taft and Gethin Jones will be squad players for Bolton. You would not be backing Bolton for promotion if they were both regular starters in Bolton's defence. They would have been better off signing Hayden White, Krystian Pearce, Rhys Bennett and CJ Hamilton.

Scott Wharton could be a target for them and Salford City as a left sided centre half as he plays for Blackburn Rovers and has done the business for Lincoln City and Northampton Town.

Hopefully it’s opposed (though I doubt it will be)

Understand they want to avoid Bury scenarios but really not a fan of this. If clubs want to spend more money they should be able to. The EFL should get their own house in order by doing a bit more homework on prospective buyers because it’s obviously been a shambles over the past few years.

I don’t agree that clubs the size of Sunderland, Hull, Ipswich for example who are massive clubs for the level of football they are at and therefore generate more money than most of the league won’t be able to spend it how they wish. Similarly, if a L1 or 2 club manages to sell a player for a 1 million +, it doesn’t really benefit them does it?

I’m sure there would be more creative ways to introduce caps on spending and keep clubs stable rather than 1 set cap for each league . Darragh MacAnthony put forward a decent idea on social media that would see scaled caps in relation to each clubs annual turnover. That makes more sense in my book.

I understand the vote is today (Wednesday).

So any big earners need to have been signed up before today it seems?

Thanks Martin.

So we may be seeing some incomers today?

It's like a mini transfer deadline day.
