Forward, Owen Windsor (19), has returned to West Brom from being on loan at Grimsby Town. He scored 1 goal and 1 assist from 10(2) league appearances. He won them the game at Leyton Orient and has been one of their better players in the games I've seen. One for the future.

Looks like it's going to be an unusual window. If you're a player with 6 months left in the midst of another lockdown I don't think you could turn down an 18 month deal if offered this month.

Those clubs who don't have backing may find it difficult to attract players if they aren't willing to stretch the finances. Rightly or wrongly that may affect performance in the second half of the season.

Harrogate Town have signed Forest Green striker Josh March on loan until the end of the season. March joined Rovers from non-league Leamington in January 2020 and has scored two goals in 14 league games.

Read an interview on Simon Weaver by Jack Muldoon. He said he only signed good characters and if any players were disruptive then they were out the door straight away . Probably adopting the same tight knit squad philosophy that Nigel Clough uses.

Darragh MacAnthony talks openly about selling Siriki Dembele for a big profit on his Hard Truth podcast and is then annoyed when the player and his agent put in a transfer request. I could see the £££ signs in front of the agent's eyes as Darragh was talking.

MacAnthony said: "So obviously we have been contacted by various outlets today about a transfer request that came into us which I woke up to yesterday. This is just an agent playing games, this is what they do unfortunately. And players always fall for it or go for it, I don't know why they do. So yes, the player asked for a transfer request. I didn't expect it and certainly didn't expect it over the weekend. It is what it is and we get on with it. Our players, and everyone in League One is for sale and unless we get the right offer nobody is going anywhere."

I’ll give Coughlan his credit. Most of his signings are proving to be decent players for us and it was probably the revolution we needed to start moving on from the Flitcroft era.

There are a few who Clough doesn’t seem to fancy. I’m guessing that Meneyese, O’Driscoll, O’Keefe are moved on in this window. I’d like to see more of O’Keefe but not sure where he fits?

Either Maynard of Cook will probably go to (preferably Maynard IMO)

The 31-year-old Turk began his career at Reading, spending time on loan at AFC Bournemouth and Millwall during his spell at the Madejski Stadium. While there between 2007 and 2015, he made 175 appearances in all competitions, scoring 12 times.

Karacan then moved to his homeland, playing for Galatasaray and Bursaspor (on loan) before moving back to England, where he turned out for Bolton Wanderers and Millwall. Last season he played for Central Coast Mariners in Australia and has been training with the Iron since November, getting his fitness up."

That's a great move for Owen Windsor under Michael Flynn at Newport. It will be interesting to see how he gets on.
