Evans apparently went mad when Frecklington said he needed to speak with Lincoln to see what they were gonna offer and Evans told him in no uncertain terms to 'Do One'. The rest is history. Not a player I would want here, however Bostwick I would have in a heartbeat.

I'm sure Ricky feels hard done too by Mansfield, he has to give himself a reason for failure. He had problems before he arrived at Mansfield and did not hit the big time when he left. OK, his two goals against us gave him pleasure, it would any pro player who felt hard done too. My view of Ricky is that he was a talent but the rest of the package got I the way.

I've just read that and unless I'm missing something there's one bit where a journalist says he thinks he might have to drop down to League One or League Two - is there something else? Doesn't seem like much of a rumour to me.

He was raspberries hot for Bolton, looked destined for big things but it never worked out for him since leaving.

Reminds me a bit of Otis khan, but has played at a higher level

He needs to go somewhere that he will get plenty of games under his belt. If they let him go on a free (I presume he is still under contract or why the debate) then he will get plenty of offers and big money. I think the only chance we may get is if a fee is required as not many clubs would be able to afford him.

I was more impressed by Fraser Horsfall at centre half than the Stags January target, Fiacre Kelleher, in the four Macclesfield games I watched this season. Arthur Gnahoua was also one of their better players. He can do a job for someone in League 2.

2 players under contract does not bode well for the club going forward. Will they be offering short term contracts at the last minute to desperate players, wage dependent upon the league they are in?

Does ‘in negotiation’ mean desperately trying to ring the owner in Ibiza as they chase their wages and try to sort the lives and futures of their families out? The owner must be up for the ‘Overseas Haslam of the year’ award.
