Was the questioner in the interview GC’s daughter? If so, she doesn’t quite have her dad’s Irish accent!

Whatever, she did a really professional job.

I would have thought his wife.

I agree, she sounded quite professional.

Sounds like he's going to release/not offer contracts to a lot of players.

I think that is probably a good thing and expect some very established players to be shown the door. I just hope that the replacements are up to it and genuinely want to play for the club.

yes, his daughter Shannon. When he signed my copy of his book (written in 2004), he flicked through it and said he hadn't looked at it for years, and he commented how she was so small in the photos and now she is grown up. They haven't lived in Ireland in her lifetime.

Squad needs a revamp for sure.

Too many scars and hangovers. Fresh blood and fresh impact.
You've got to go there and come back, to know where you've been.

I wonder if his overhaul will have to be tempered by what's happening at the moment.
I believe that if things were normal it would be easier to guess just who he would keep, not many imo

I hope he's going to bring success, but until he starts us on a upward direction I'll sit on t'fence. Too many folk having a love in on words and how he interviews, when it's what happens on the pitch that really matters

I have a sneaking suspicion that who is kept is going to depend on who is prepared to take a salary cut. There’s no way that for the next few years clubs (in league 2) will be paying the kind of amounts rumoured over the last few seasons.

They will be halved by the sound of it.
