Ordinarily today at 3 pm I would have been cheering the end of this awful season. Having spent four hours in the Berkeley Hotel playing cards, drinking the best that Samuel Smiths has to offer and, hopefully, listening to a Mad Steve rendition or two of ‘A woman in glitter’. Lusting for a good performance to give hope for the start of the next season.

Alas, as it is not to be, I will also be wearing my Stags shirt at 3 pm with a beer in hand. COYS.

Half time update

Not much football being played by either team and no goals so far. Most players have been totally anonymous as have the crowd despite favourable weather conditions. I don't expect much to change in the second half.

I reckon we won 1-0 with a late goal from Danny

Defence didn’t have much to do as Ryan Sweeney has been on phone all afternoon

He took it really well, headed back across goal into the far corner... keeper just flapped at it..
Great cross from CJ

Highlight of the day was Old Ram Stag, getting his hand in his pocket and being forced into buying a round with his collection of pre-war old white fivers.
