Briefest of highlights here --->

Brilliant, remember it like yesterday

Attendance 4,163 looked poor against the big club!

Ssshhh,don't tell Spiritator

Apathy I tell you Apathy. :D

More agony than apathy as I recall as I didn't see the incoming fist from a particularly irate Zulu Warrior outside the QLE after the game . The west stand terrace below where the Brum fans were sat was practically empty by the time Wilkinson put his hat trick away and most of us still there were thinking "please don't score anymore " .

I had forgotten just what a brilliant set piece and finish Corden's goal was.

Slightly random but thinking of the Conference year (after looking at the above highlights), the Luton away win has barely ever been mentioned but that felt like a big win that season. To nick it 3-2 in stoppage time at probably the most difficult place in the conference to go to and get a result was class. Really thought we were on to something after that win.

Yes, the three away wins in a week was the turning point of our season.

Hyde 1-0
Luton 3-2
Lincoln 1-0 another last minute winner.

Steve Wilkinson with a crazy goal against Wrexham in 1991. The Stags won the game 3-0, and the footage is from Saint & Greavsie

Martin... Any chance of the neil MacKenzie goal at hull and the play off double header against Northampton?

Thanks again for digging these old matches out.

I had saved McKemzie's goal v Hull on my old sky box. The noticable thing regarding the footage is the crisp thud noise when boot contacted the ball. Can't think of another goal with such good sound effects.
First match : 04.01.1975 home v Cambridge Utd F.A.Cup 3rd Round 1-0 Clarke

Here's Lee Peacock scoring a beauty in a 3-1 win for Mansfield over Peterborough in the 1999/2000 season. Peacock scored a hat-trick.
