Has to be said, to date he's not achieved any better return in results to what JD was doing, just a miserable point per game. Most of the time it's been half hearted, can't be bothered mistake ridden rubbish.
He should see us safe though from t'drop and it goes without saying that next season is his season and most folk will judge him fully on that. The players who come in should be super fit come the big KO in August, if they aren't well he's nobody to blame. Come Xmas, and if he's floundering in and around the relegation zone how long will he last? He has to show a vast improvement and get his team challenging towards the top. I personally don't care how he does it or through which style.

We’ve known for a long time now that our midfield is nowhere near good enough. Persevering with the likes of Bishop, Tomlinson, Charsley, etc would see us struggling at the bottom of the league again next season. I’m sure we can do much better with the wages that we’re paying our current midfielders.
