Is Carolyn still Chief Executive?

Postby sunray » Thu Feb 20, 2020 5:47 pm

In the recent Hello interview she says?
has swapped the boardroom for the beach as she strives for a better work-life balance and makes more time for her boys.

She still has the position, but is she “at the helm”?

I've been thinking the same. She has put a video on Facebook that seems to show the kids at school in Portugal. So if she and John are spending most of their time in the sun how can she keep her eye on what is happening back home. If anyone at the club has a problem surely they would want to sit down face to face w ith her rather than doing it by Skype

I dont understand the problem, Billy and his misses are looking after things in their absence.

What could/has possibly gone wrong with the arrangement.

I have it from a very reliable source (who I wont name before you all start) that the Radford's are looking to get out.

Not surprised if true.

They've spaffed a lot on virtually nothing.
You've got to go there and come back, to know where you've been.

I very much hope not but given they are making a new life in Portugal and they have put a ton of money in and we’ve landed up near the bottom of the league as all they have to show for it, you could understand why they might think they’ve had enough. I hope not though.

No they are not looking to get out. I've spoken to them quite a bit in the last two or three months and they are fully committed.

Regarding the Hello! mag article, this is part of the article which is not in the online version:

"It's our passion and our heart, and having put in all this effort, it's hard to watch it kind of trickle away. But I feel huge responsibility, and we have no intention of selling it. We need to make sure we have strong people who can manage the day-to-day running of it."
