Postby Realitycheck82 » Mon Feb 03, 2020 6:09 pm

Support the stags and the current managerial team!...forget Evan's, flitcroft and Dempster!.....theres many issues I could speak about on here and i will in time but for tonight I'll ask you this question?...someone name me 1 influential midfielder a league 2 team have signed in the january transfer window?...answer...nobody! Coughlin has been in football management for 18 months hes not Carlos anchellloti....he will make mistakes just like he did sat with his substitutions!....but his high press style of play will get us promoted next season after he has cleared out all the dead wood!

Sometimes, it’s that the past that keeps us going in the future.

Bit trippy that, but it is the basic essence of being a Stags fan.

Michael O'Connor, Lincoln to Salford.

By the way, I don't agree that he made mistakes with his substitutions on Saturday. But that is covered in other threads. So best not to open up on this thread too.

I don't think we will get promoted next season... But we will be back up there and in the right direction. GC will hopefully be here more than just two seasons

Sorry Martin I disagree with your last paragraph, maybe you were asleep for the last 20 mins on Saturday?

Gosh - some people talking about GC getting us promoted next season! ... I don't see any evidence of that so far. It takes far more than just playing a pressing game.

Right now, he's got a battle on his hands avoiding relegation (with a squad that Evans & Flitcroft were able to able to get better results from).

That said - I take your point ... we really need to get behind this team and forget the past - it could make or break us this season.

Just a reminder to everyone that is not compulsory to hide your identity behind a username. Indeed if anyone wants me to change their username to their name, just drop me a note and I'll do it for you.

League 2 will be much tougher next season if Bolton Wanderers come down and Salford City stay down. It was there for the taking this season.

It would certainly stop a lot of abuse on here if people had their real names displayed so they can't be brave hiding behind a pseudonym!

I agree, my real name is Ian Spartacus. It’s just that my spelling is terrible!

My surname is Stag and my dad was a big fan of the stags and Man U which is why I got Sandy Pate Best as Christian names. He was also a clairvoyant seeing as I was born in 1954.
